| Chancel Choir All Adult Choir Sings for the 9:30AM Traditional Service Special presentations throughout the year including Cantatas, seasonal music, and our annual “Broadway Night”. Rehearsals every Wednesday night at 6:45 p.m. Spirit Wind Adult Handbell Choir Plays for traditional service throughout the year Participates in seasonal concerts with local groups Rehearsals every Wednesday night at 7:45 p.m. Friendship Ensemble High School/Adult Orchestra Open to instrumentalists from 9th grade through adult. Plays for various events and services throughout the year. Rehearsals scheduled, as needed, for each event. Praise For Him Praise and Worship band for vocalists and instrumentalists. Plays for the Connect service. Special Music Opportunities abound for all vocalists and instrumentalists Solos, Duets, Quartets are welcome Spots available in all services, all types of music. |
| Ring And Sing is an exciting program for children in grades 1-6 incorporating choral singing and instruments. Grades 1-3 Children’s Choir rehearses every Wednesday night at 6 p.m. Grades 4-6 Junior Choir / Quarter Note Club Rehearses every Wednesday night at 6 and 6:30 p.m. Groups participate in worship about one time each month and various other activities throughout the year. For The Youth 8th Notes Handbell Choir for grades 7-12. We play all types of music, but our specialty is “Praise & Worship.” Precision ringing and bell musicals are performed several times per year in worship. Jubilate All Female vocal ensemble for grades 7-12. We learn sacred and secular music from all time periods. We sing several times per year for worship as well as special church events. Other Offerings For Grades 7-12 We are always looking for vocal soloists and instrumentalists to provide music for special events and services. | Music Appreciation in May On Sunday, May 4th, our adult musicians will be recognized for their contributions to our Worship Services. Chancel Choir and Spirit Wind will be among those performing. On Sunday, May 18th, the children in the music ministry will be recognized. Come and see the children ring and sing and thank them for lending their talents to FUMC! |
